The shitty part about the ACT compared to the SAT is that the essay is at the end, instead of the beginning and so you're already tired and pissed off and don't give a shit anymore. I demolished the ACT but bombed the essay because I just didn't give a shit anymore.

Really? I took in in 2005 or 2006 and it was the first thing you did. It's evil to put the essay at the end.
